John and I have been to five Division 1 football games since Labor Day weekend. At four of them we nearly had heat stroke. Finally, some football mixed with fall weather this past Saturday in East Lansing.
We caught the warm-ups of the MSU and Ohio State band, affectionately known as TBDITL (The Best Damn Band In The Land, for those of you who are not members of Buckeye Nation). We followed TBDITL over to Spartan Stadium, made me feel like a kid again, in a parade. Lots of Buckeyes wearing scarlet walking with the band. Safety in numbers! John even found Jodi's band director from high school walking with the Bucks, he is now an assistant at Ohio State.
