On the morning of her birthday (December 30), John wished Maren a Happy Birthday. She said "Daddy, I'm not four until I have cake."
We were fortunate to have a friend who makes GREAT cakes, Erinn of Erinn's Edibles, and also that Nana recently sent a set of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse gang, the show that is Maren's most recent morning obsession.
Punkin insisted on being fancy and wearing a dress from cousin Tacy. We were happy to have friends the Lubbens and the Vos's in addition to Bunny, Grandpa and Uncle Jay Jensen at our house for a small party to blow out the candles.
Someday I will learn how to use our digital camera and maybe not have fuzzy pics on the blog...
